I made an error in my registration, what should I do?
Please do not register again, send an E-mail to the organizing committee and we will make the changes.
Are there any kind of scholarship for attendance?
Given that the event is free of charge and virtual already, we do not provide additional scholarships.
What are the requirements for short talk and poster abstracts?
Detailed instructions will be sent along with the link to submit the abstract. Character limits are 500 characters (including spaces) for posters and 1500 characters (including spaces) for short talks.
I am a representative for a company and very interested in the event. How can I participate as sponsors?
Please contact us using the Email of the organizing committee.
Do I have to present a poster or short talk to be eligible?
No. In this edition, the meeting will be virtual and free of charge. The registration will not be limited by the number of participants. The participants shoild ensure a good network connection.
I applied for a short talk or poster but have not received a link to submit my abstract.
Emails for abstract submission will be send up to two weeks after after registration, please be patient and check your spam. If you haven't received an email after 2 weeks, contact the organizing committee.
I am a professional, medical worker. Am I eligible?
Yes, we invite applications from all healthcare professionals.
I do not work with Systems Biology but am very interested in it. Am I eligible?
Although Systems Biology is one of the areas that will be prefered we want to expand the network of collaboration between different areas that may benefit. However, we recommend that you familiarize with Systems Biology, bioformatics, or computational biology before applying since there will be no introduction or course. Applicants from outside the field will be judged mostly by their abstract, so we recommend you sign up for a short talk or poster.
How many spots will be available for short talks, and posters?
The symposium only provides space for 12 short-talks and around 40 posters, both of which will be selected by their relevance and quality.
Will conference abstracts be published?
Conference abstract will not be published per sé but works presented during the symposium are eligible to be submitted to the Research Topic “Systems Biology and its advances in human diseases: where we are, and what is next” organized together with Frontiers in Molecular Biosciences (https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/molecular-biosciences#).
Do I have to present a poster to be eligible?
No, there will be no filter to assit to the event. The only requirement is that you will register in the webpage of teh event.
